The Hey Convict! team comes from a long line of vinyl archeologists. Their forefathers were part of the legendary Dorset MC crew, The Tolpuddle Martyrs, whose breakdancing aboard galleons in the 19th century became notorious and provided the inspiration for such greats as Afrika Bambaataa, Kool Herc, INXS, Midnight Oil and Dannii Minogue. They now live many miles apart, one marooned somewhere in the Far East (Romford) while the other has made his home by the Atlantic coast (Scilly Isles). Parole is due soon.
